INPUT: CAD PATTERN FILE
OUTPUT: FINISHED SEWN SAMPLE
01
Phase 01

Pattern Intake

From raw file to cut-ready marker

INPUT
Technical flat sketch pattern pieces spread on drafting table with measurement annotations
RAW INPUT

Tech pack PDF or DXF file uploaded via secure portal. Our system reads seam allowances, grain lines, notch positions, and BOM tables automatically.

OUTPUT
Digital cut marker layout showing nested pattern pieces on fabric width with efficiency percentage
PROCESSED OUTPUT

Nested cut marker optimized for 94.2% fabric efficiency. Graded across three sizes in 18 minutes average processing time.

02
Phase 02

Material Selection

From spec sheet to swatch confirmation

INPUT
Fabric specification sheet with GSM weight readings, fiber content percentages, and colorway swatches
RAW INPUT

Fabric specification: weight (GSM), weave structure, fiber content, colorway references. Three alternates requested for Tuesday's buying meeting.

OUTPUT
Three fabric swatches in different colorways laid out on white surface under studio lighting with color codes
PROCESSED OUTPUT

280 in-stock materials cross-referenced against spec. Three colorway swatches cut, labeled, and photographed under D65 lighting within 4 hours.

03
Phase 03

Seam Construction

From cut parts to assembled muslin

INPUT
Cut fabric pieces arranged on work table with seam allowance markings and construction notes visible
RAW INPUT

Cut components, seam construction notes (flatlock, bound, French seam, bonded), and stitch density requirements from the tech pack.

OUTPUT
Sewn garment muslin on dress form showing seam construction detail with flatlock stitching visible
PROCESSED OUTPUT

Sewn muslin on dress form. 14 SPI ±0.5 tolerance. Seam strength tested at 45 lbf before the sample leaves the floor.

04
Phase 04

Lab Validation

From garment to performance data

INPUT
Lab technician testing fabric sample on burst strength testing machine with digital readout display
RAW INPUT

Sewn sample submitted to in-house lab. Performance-wear engineer's spec sheet: moisture wicking rate, burst strength, dimensional stability after 10 wash cycles.

OUTPUT
Lab test report data sheet showing wicking rate measurements, burst strength values, and pilling grade results
PROCESSED OUTPUT

Full test report: 18 data points including wicking rate (mm/min), burst strength (kPa), pilling grade, and colorfastness. PDF delivered within 12 hours of submission.

Capability Matrix

From first cut to impossible constructions.

Every tier ships within the 72-hour window. Complexity doesn't extend the clock.

TIER 1

Single-Layer Cut

Entry

Woven shirting, knit tees, basic jersey. Straight seams, minimal hardware. Ideal for first-pass colorway validation.
